20 years! Wow how time flies. It was 20 years ago

20 years! Wow how time flies. It was 20 years ago today that i took the leap and purchased Adventure Cycle and Ski. Things sure have changed quite a bit over that time. The bikes, the business and the people. It has been quite an amazing ride so far with lots of ups and of course a few downs and i think we are still tired from the covid craziness but i wouldn’t change anything. Hopefully i will be able to retire before the next 20 years is up but i’m going to enjoy every minute of it until that time comes. A big thank you to all of our customers who have supported us all this time. We hope to keep seeing you for many years to come. Have a great day and go ride your bike.

So my brother in law sent me this thinking it was

So my brother in law sent me this thinking it was funny. I normally have a pretty good sense of humor but not only did i not find this funny but it really hit a nerve. I have been buzzed and yelled at while riding.. I’ve had friends and employees been hit by full bottles and even hit by cars while merely trying to enjoy a bike ride. How is it that people feel threatened by a person riding a 20lb bike while they are in a 2 ton vehicle. So maybe you have to slow down for a few seconds or move into the other lane, big fricking deal. Is 3 seconds of inconvenience in your life worth the life of someone else? Are you so dissatisfied with your life that you need to prevent someone else from enjoying theirs? Maybe you should put down the busch lite, get off the couch and try going for a bike ride. You would be amazed at how it can make you feel. At the very least you might understand how it feels to be almost hit by a car just about every time you ride. To everyone else, have a great day and enjoy your ride.

Our big bike adventure ended up being a little more adventurous than we planned. The most surprising thing of all though was on our 150 mile ride there were no mechanicals, crashes or even 1 flat tire. Sunday was a great day for a bike ride. #trekbikes #trekdomane #trekcheckpoint
